The logo needed to reflect the essence of Krumble Bakehouse. Everything is baked in house, daily using the freshest ingredients. It needed a bold logomark that can stand out on it's own and can be effective without the name. The 'K' sits on top of a brownie in the form of a handcrafted bow. The bold but soft font adds a welcoming touch whilst standing out above it's competitors.
Most bakeries default to creams and light browns, so we went a different direction entirely. A light blue and charcoal primary palette gives Krumble a distinctive, fresh feel on the shelf, backed up by a secondary palette — dusty pink, aquamarine, and dutch white — that adds personality without losing that sense of warmth. It's a brand that looks as good as the bakes taste.
Kara puts everything into what she does. Every day, Krumble Bakehouse opens its doors with fresh sourdough, cookies, brownies, and cakes — all made from scratch and with the best ingredients. They bake with love and passion and have created a thriving business. The only thing that wasn't keeping up? The visual identity.
A IDENTITY BAKED WITH LOVE!
SAYING GOODBYE TO 'DIY'.
Like a lot of small businesses, Krumble started out with a DIY logo knocked together in Canva — quick, easy, and fine enough to get things moving. But as the bakery grew, it became clear the logo wasn't cutting it. It wasn't responsive, the quality wasn't there, and it certainly wasn't turning up on packaging, uniforms, and social media with any kind of confidence. A business this good deserved more than a template with its name slapped on it.
